Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned the hearing of disqualification case of Faisal Vawda due to non availability of counsel for Nisar Khoro.
The court directed counsels for all the parties concerned to appear before it on next hearing well prepared about the application of article 62 (1)(f).
The matter came up for hearing before a 3-member bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial on Tuesday.
The CJP remarked the important question before the court is article 62-1/F. Can election commission apply article 62/1-F. We have to see can Election commission apply article 62(1)(f). Application of article 62(1)(f) is very serious issue.
The court while rejecting the appeal plea of counsel for Faisal Vawda for early hearing of the case due to non availability of counsel for Nisar Khoro adjourned the hearing of the case till September.
