CM inaugurates provincial security secretariat in Peshawar

PESHAWAR
The Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Wednesday inaugurated provincial security secretariat (PSS) at Home & Tribal Affairs department in Civil Secretariat Peshawar.
The Commander 11 Corps Peshawar and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended the inaugural ceremony.
On this occasion, the Secretary Home & Tribal Affairs department briefed the participants about the objectives of setting up a PSS.
Commander 11 Corps Peshawar also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the purpose of the secretariat and lauded the positive role of all relevant stakeholders to streamline the overall coordination mechanism for effective and efficient results.
On the occasion specially designed software was inaugurated in presence of all participants. Advocate General, IG FC, Director General FIA, Director, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, DG NADRA, DIG IB KP, Director General Passport, Chief Manager SBP, Member Custom Operation, DG Excise & Taxation, DIG Special Branch, DIG CTD and head of several security agencies attended the meeting.
