PESHAWAR
In connection with the Independence Day, a squash tournament under the auspices of Malik Saad Sports Trust Kohat got under way here at Squash Court of the Kohat Sports Complex on Wednesday.
A total of 64 squash players of three different age groups are taking part in the Championship. The Championship was officially opened by President Kohat Squash Association and coordinator Malik Saad Shaheed Sports Trust Muhammad Faqir Awan, General Secretary of the Association, Syed Zubair Banoori, Chairman of Pakistan Zindabad Trust, Zaheer Muhammad Safi, and other important personalities were present.
The Senior and Junior age group players are participating in the Championship. The Championship will continue for three days and the President Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association and Ex-World Champion Qamar Zaman will be the chief guest on the occasion of the closing ceremony.
