Police claimed to have solved a blind murder case in which an elder brother turned out to be the killer of his own younger brother in the jurisdiction of Pharipura Police Station.
The accused had brutally killed his younger brother by stabbing with a stick last night, said police in a handout.
The accused has been identified as Ismail who after committing the crime attempted to escape Afghanistan.
Police during the initial investigation revealed that the accused killed his brother over a family dispute.
According to the details, Adalat Khan, brother of the slain, had registered a complaint with police that his brother Ismail had killed his younger brother Israel Khan by stabbing him with a stick.
SHO Police Station Paharipura Abdullah Jalal started a series of raids on all possible places to arrest the accused.
Finally, police arrested the accused in the limits of Police Station Paharipura on the basis of information.
Police said that the arrested accused had confessed to killing his younger brother during the initial investigation.
