Due to the continuous rain in the country for the past several hours, a flood situation has arisen in Taluka Garhi Khairo of Jacobabad district and surrounding areas, the houses and crops have been destroyed.

While there are also reports of damage and collapse of a large number of mud houses at different places.
Due to the presence of rainwater and lack of drainage in cities, markets and villages, communication systems and other business life have also been paralyzed.
The number of malaria, gastro and diarrhea patients has also increased in the area.
In this regard, the political and social circles of the area have demanded from the Revenue Department and the Government of Sindh to conduct a survey of the damages caused by the rains and to declare Garhi Khairo as a calamity and provide financial assistance and rehabilitation to the victims. .
