LAHORE: PML-N leader Javed Latif on Monday once again announced that his party supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be returning to Pakistan soon.
Latif, who is considered to be Nawaz’s spokesperson, said that all the ‘injustice’ done to Nawaz Sharif must be ‘compensated’. He said that a party leader and three times prime minister was not allowed to talk on any national television.
“You are facilitating one party leader and blacking out the other,” Latif said while making a comparison of Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif respectively. He was addressing a press talk here Monday.
“Imran supported [Salman] Rushdi,” he claimed, referring to PTI Chairman’s recent statement regarding the assault attempt on controversial author Salman Rushdi. Javed Latif said that incarcerated PTI leader Shehbaz Gill was not tortured during arrest.
