Govt committed to create equal opportunities for women: Saif

Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that Islam confirmes both men and women are equal in the sight of God, adding the provincial government was utilizing all available resources to create equal avenues for women and protect them from all form of violence.
He expressed these views while addressing the first annual KP Women’s Conference at a local hotel in Islamabad. The event was organized by the government of Canada and German NGOs. Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan Wendy Gilmour and German Ambassador Alfred Greens also attended the event. On this occasion, Muhammad Ali Saif said that Allah created woman in beautiful forms like mother, sister, daughter and wife.
He said that no one can have a higher position, respect, introduction and honor than a mother. Allah has clarified the position of a woman by placing heaven under the feet of a mother.
Islam teaches honor, respect and protection of women, those who want to impose their will, thoughts are afraid of human consciousness, gone are the days when women were silenced by force. Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif also presented shields to Canada’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Wendy Gilmour, and German Ambassador Alfred Greens.
On this occasion, the ambassadors of the two countries appreciated all the efforts made by the government of KP for the rights of women and assured their full cooperation.
