PESHAWAR
Work was inaugurated on the construction of the own building of Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak(KKKUK) at its new campus, which would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.7 billion.
In the first phase of the project, the work was opened on the construction of a boys’ hostel. On the directives of Vice Chancellor Prof DrJohar Ali, the project inauguration was jointly performed by all heads of teaching and administrative departments, senior officials and other employees of the university.
According to an official statement issued by the university on Wednesday, ViceChancellor Prof DrJohar Ali said in his address that the infrastructure of the university is very vital for the promotion of teaching and learning activities.
He said that the completion of this project would improve the teaching and administrative affairs of the university.
He praised the efforts of all the project staff, including project coordinator Rashad Khattak, director works Engineer Mir Salam, Controller of Examinations Dr Muhammad Zubair, Dr Anwar Khan Marwat and other employees for the timely start of construction work of this vital project.
