CRC delegation calls on Mushtaq Ghani

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Acting Governor Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani on Monday lauded the role of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Pacific Asia in working along with the provincial government in relief and rehabilitation operations for flood-hit people.
He expressed these views during a meeting with ICRC-Pacific Asia delegation led by its deputy regional director Patricia Guyot, said a statement issued by the Governor House Peshawar.
The delegation informed the Acting Governor of the services for the suffering humanity in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In KP, medical facilities were being provided to the public through Paraplegic Centers and Primary Health Units. On this occasion, Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani said that the role of the International Committee of the Red Cross in serving the suffering humanity is commendable.
Due to the recent floods, the entire country including KP has been severely damaged.
He said that rehabilitation of flood victims, relief and complete restoration of infrastructure was a big challenge.
