Imran Khan a sources of hope for people; CM-KP convened a meeting of the provincial party’s parliamentary group in Peshawar

Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan was a source of hope for people in the country.
He accused the federal government for pushing the country towards ‘bankruptcy’ only in a few months, adding that Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) led government came into power for “entertainment” and has no preparations to deal with ongoing financial crises.
He alleged the incumbent federal government and its leadership for toppling the country’s economy, adding the country was experiencing unprecedented inflation and people’s lives have become miserable owing to its failure economic policies.
According to a statement issued by Chief Minister House here on Monday, CM convened a meeting of the parliamentary party group in Peshawar and called for supporting party chairman Imran Khan stance in the ongoing political situation.
Addressing the meeting he said that rehabilitation of the flood-affected families was the common responsibility of provincial and federal government but unfortunately centre was busy in politics over the calamity.
CM-KP lambasted the federal government for politicizing the rehabilitation initiatives, adding that people across the country were reeling from the floods and they were playing political gimmicks.
“It is a regrettable and reprehensible act of the imported government to settle their political scores over the flood hit people relief measures.
Imran Khan is raising funds through telethon to help and rehabilitate flood victims,” he added.
He said that Imran Khan was the only leader who had the ability to bring the country out of the economic crisis and put the economy on the right track.
Imran Khan narrative gained momentum and his popularity graph was touching the highest level across the country, he claimed.
The Chief Minister said that every worker of PTI was standing by Imran Khan’s side and will stand till the end.
“Imran Khan is the center of people’s hopes and he will never let down the expectations of people. We will fully support our leader on every front and stand by his side,” he added and said that PTI was faced with an acute difficult political situation and every member of the party should support its party in its testing time.
“PTI is the only national party which has its roots in every province and region,” he claimed.
