BADIN: Hundreds children, women & men were becoming more vulnerable as thousands of people suffer from infectious and water-borne diseases in flood-hit areas of the district and the death toll from the inundation surpassed 25 according to government data on Monday. While the hype of different diseases including gastro & skin, malaria, diarrhea, cholera & other diseaes observed in the flooding areas of district Badin when dengue cases were also reported. According to reports, flood 2022 has brought the havoc for thousands of people of the different union councils including Union council Peer Fateh Shah, Abdullah Shah, Nindo, Dai Jarkas, Oliya Jarkas, Peer Bodlu, Saman Sarkar, Malkani, Ahmed Rajo and others of talukas Badin, Tando Bago, SF Rahu, Matli and Talhar of the district Badin, more than thousands of people of different areas have been left their villages and settled in relief camps and others safer areas as their villages were inundated with rain water of the current monsoon 2022.
