Disitirct Police Officer(DPO)Khyber, Muhammad Imran vowed that police will curtain anti-social activities in Mulagori,sub-division of Jamrud and in near future those found involve in Ice dealing and decoities will be brought to book.
He expressed the views while talking to a elders delegation from Mulagori area who called on him in his office in Shahkas, Jamrud on Wednesday.
He directed the Station House Officer (SHO)Mulagori police station to apprehend the alleged criminals within three days and no compromise would be made to announce the area free of crime.
Negligence in duty would never be tolerable and urged the police personnel to work beyond their capacity to halt mal-practices in the area, he opined.
The district police head assured the tribesmen that they would utilize all their energies to restore the peaceful environment in Khyber and stressed to assist the police to control crimes.
Earlier, members of the delegation apprised the DPO of anti-social activities being carried out in Mulagori without any fear and said that due to easy availability of Ice, the number of abducted persons increased many folds that put the future of their locality at risk.
They maintained that decoities and numberless stealing incidents made their life miserable.
