A petition has been filed in Supreme Court (SC) against inhuman treatment and subjecting PTI Senator Azam Swati to violence by stripping him naked during his arrest.
The petitioner has taken the plea Senator Azam Swati was subjected to violence after stripping him naked during his arrest. The judge was informed about physical torture when Azam Swati appeared in the court during his remand. The treatment meted out during the arrest is against the constitution and human dignity.
The petitioner has requested the court to take suo moto notice of the matter as it is violation of basic human rights.
