Grenade attack
PESHAWAR: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Lakki Marwat on Monday escaped a life attempt when unknown miscreants threw a hand grenade at his vehicle in Shehbaz Khel area of Lakki Marwat district. Police said DSP, Iqbal Mohmand along with police officials were travelling in a vehicle when miscreants riding a motorcycle, hurled a hand-grenade at the vehicle in Shehbaz Khel area. The DSP and other police officials remained unhurt in the attack. The vehicle was badly damaged in the attack, police said and added that exchange of fire also took place between the police and miscreants in Alawalkhel area however no casualty was reported from both sides. Police have launched a search operation in the area to nab the miscreants. APP
