PESHAWAR: A drug smuggler escaped from police custody while he was being taken for a hearing in a case at the district session court on Thursday. Mohammad Idrees was arrested by the Chamkani Police in drug pushing case and was brought to session court. In the premises of the court, the negligence of the police helped the drug peddler escape. According to the police, a comprehensive search operation has been launched to re-arrest the Mohammad Idress. Police claimed that all footages of the CCTV cameras installed near the court have been obtained and strict action will also be taken against the police for showing negligence. Haqnawaz shinwari
