PESHAWAR
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday directed the Accountant General (AG) and relevant districts account officers to pay the salaries and pensions of all government employees on first each month.
KP’s finance minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra in a statement has no impediments to pay salaries and pension contributions.
The provincial finance department, in a circular, directed the above-mentioned offices to release `salaries and pension´ payments as per schedule, on the first day of the month.
In the statement released by the finance department, it has been further said that the salaries of more than 630,000 government employees of the province are being paid.
It also said that confusion regarding salaries delays is baseless and all public sector employees would receive their salaries and pensions on time.
