The provincial chairman of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Sikander Hayat Khan Sherpao on Tuesday expressed concern over delay in restoration of Munda Headworks, saying that hundreds of acres of agricultural land were being affected by lack of interest in the restoration work.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of party officials, leaders and workers in Shabqadar Tehsil.
Sikander Sherpao said that the provincial government should take pragmatic steps and restore the flood damaged Munda headworks to restore water to farmers for their crops.
Talking about the conspiracy narrative of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, he said that with each passing day, the deeds and double standards of the former prime minister are being exposed before the public.
QWP leader said that Imran Khan had left no stone unturned in the country’s economic crisis, even if no international financial institution, including the IMF, was ready to lend to Pakistan.
Instead of resorting to dramatists, show the public the four-year performance of his government.
He said that the PTI chairman should not resort to tactics like a long march to spread chaos in the country and hide the corruption of himself and his ministers and advisers.
