PESHAWAR: All Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Contract Employees Association (KUCEA) on Friday expressed pleasure and lauded the provincial government on the formation of a cabinet committee for regularizing the contractual employees in the public sector universities in the province. The president of the KUCEA Kashif Naseer in a statement welcomed the KP government committee and said that the regularization of the contract based employees would not impact the overall budget allocations, adding that hopefully the committee will soon start its work. “All contract based employees of the public sector universities of KP have been appointed according to rules and regulations,” he added. The basic criteria for induction including advertisement in the newspapers and recommendations of the selection committee were applied before the appointment, adding most of the employees are working on budgeted posts so regularization was their due rights, Kashif maintained.
