PESHAWAR, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah has demanded to make public all details of Toshakhana from past to present and present them before the court as well.
A statement issued here on Tuesday, Faiq said foreign funding and corruption cases should be decided on an equitable basis in order to remove revenge and political point scoring.
Shah appealed the court to take suo motu notice and give verdict on equitable grounds so that it will gain popular support.
Specific political decisions gave birth to double-standard laws, the ATP chief observed.
Distinction between elite and poor has been kept, while justice and accountability have been violated by adopting double segments standard, he added.
He asked to eliminate double standards forthwith.
Shah noted the turns of power also used accountability for politics.
Religion, morals and the constitution were insulted by implementing separate laws for the poor and the rich, which created instability and hatred, he added.
The ATP chairman demanded the double standard should be eliminated.
Faiq emphasized that lawyers and intellectuals should fight hard by following the principles of Quaid-e-Azam so that there is a change in the society on the basis of equality and morality.
