Regional Police Officer Malakand Sajjad Khan has ordered the Swat Police to prepare lists of elements involved in usurer, drug dealers, extortion and other social evils and take strict action against them. He further directed theadistrict police to pay attention for improvement of the traffic system in the district, while assured for possible solution of unresolved problems being faced to police.
The RPO said that Swat police have made immense sacrifices and expressed their courage and bravery during past situations, upon which, now the best law and order situation prevails in the region.
He added police force shall perform all the responsibilities involved in their duties with sincerity and full devotion while to deal the masses with friendly behavior so that they feel a sense of respect in their hearts for their police.
He said that police should expedite their operations against crime prevention, anti-social and peace harming elements and also mafias, involved in the heinous drug trade in the area so that the society could make free from these evils.
The RPO further said that the complainants, coming to the police stations, should also be treated with politeness and resolve their issues with their full satisfaction while service delivery must be improved in police stations. The RPO also assured to solve the problems being faced by police personals and vowed for their promotion cases to bring it under consideration.
He was addressing as a chief guest to the Police Darbar in Police Lines, at Kabul Swat on Thursday. The DPO Swat Shafiullah Gandafur also spoke on this occasion. Earlier, on arrival to police line, DPO Swat Shafiullah Gandapur and other senior officers of Swat Police welcomed the RPO, while a smart contingent of police presented him guard of honor.
On this occasion, he laid flowers at the martyrs’ memorial and prayed for the soul of the martyrs of Swat Police.Meanwhile, the RPO inaugurated the modern Anti-Car Lifting Cell(ACL) in police line and termed it as an important project to tackle car theft. The RPO also inspected the cell and learned about its various desks.
Addressing the darbar, the RPO further said the police should fallow a polite and loving attitude towards the visitors and tourists coming to Swat while asked the police to extend their full cooperation to the DRC members to eradicate social problems and stressed upon the police, to focus on tracing of untraced cases.
He directed to increase police mobile patrols and also stressed to register cases of theft and other cognizable crimes in a timely manner. The RPO distributed certificates of appreciation among the best performing Swat police officers and personals.
