Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali has said that all minorities including the Christian community have full religious freedom in Pakistan, saying the constitution provides equal rights and opportunities to all minorities to perform their rituals.
He said this while congratulating the Christian community living in Pakistan, especially KP on the occasion of Christmas.
In his message on the occasion of Christmas, Governor Haji Ghulam Ali has said that the role of the Christian community in the development of the country is evident and the government valued their services for the socio-economic development of the country.
Gulam Ali urged Christian community to reiterate their resolve on the occasion of Christmas to maintain brotherhood and solidarity and strive to make the country prosper and develop.
“Peaceful and prosperous society is the common responsibility of all sections of the society and the role of all minorities in the province for peace and development is commendable,” he maintained.
