DIR UPPER: District administration here on Monday recovered 60 wood sleepers from Sur Qamar area and 22 numbers of different size wood from Achar Bala, Sheringal. On the directives of Commissioner Malakand Shaukat Ali Yousafzai regarding illicit cutting of forest wood, the teams of district administration led by Assistant Commissioner Hafeezullah along with Levy and Forest staff raided Sur Qamar Forest and recovered 60 wood sleepers from a nullah. Similarly, in another raid conducted in a house located in Achar Bala and recovered 22 numbers of different size wood. In this regard, seven persons were booked under 3MPO (Maintenance of Public Order) and sent to jail. APP
