Routine life in especially parts of the Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh provinces came to stand still and road traffic remained disrupted due to dense on the night between Monday and Tuesday.
The foggy condition led to disrupt the flight operation at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore and Multan Airport amid the reports several incoming flights were diverted to other airports while outgoing flights were either delayed or cancelled.
The road traffic was severely affected several in several cities.
The Motorway M1 Section from Peshawar Toll Plaza to Rashakai Interchange in KP, Motorway M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin, Lahore-Multan Motorway M3 from Faizpur to Darkhana, Motorway M4 from Shershah to Abdul Hakim, Motorway M5 from Shershah to Hazirpir and Motorway M11 from Lahore to Sambrial have been closed for all kind of traffic, Motorway police spokesperson said. .
The Motorway police have asked the drivers to use Grand Trunk (GT) Road for travelling besides driving slowly and keeping fog lights switch on.
