PESHAWAR: Police have seized a huge quantity of drugs and arrested three smugglers in Sarband area here on Wednesday. DSP Malik Habib told media that more than 50kg charas and 11kg opium were recovered. He said the arrestees were identified as Adnan, Smiullah and Mian Sikandar Shah. He said that the arrested man had confessed to their involvement in drugs and other crimes. He said the actions were taken in Sarband and adjacent areas of Peshawar. He said that the cops were active to take action against drugs, insecurity and other crimes in the area. “The actions for peace and against crimes will continue and drugs will be eliminated,” he added.
