Drug pushers have allegedly opened fire on a police team during a raid on their den in Lower Kurram Sadda.
During the exchange of fire between police team and drug pushers, SHO Fazal-e-Karim sustained severe injuries and shifted to a hospital in Peshawar for medical treatment. Police team of Lower Kurram Sadda after the incident rushed to the scene and arrested a drug pusher with arms and drugs. The arrested person has been identified as Gul Zaman. Local residents of the district have demanded of the District Police Officer (DPO) Kurram to take pragmatic action against the drug pushers and eliminate them from the district.
