Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi will go to Dubai today on January 12.
According to sources, Najam Sethi has been invited by the Emirates Cricket Board to participate in the opening ceremony of the International League T20.
The ILT will start in Dubai from January 13. Sources say that during the visit, Najam Sethi will meet officials of Emirates Cricket Board and Asian Cricket Council on the sidelines.
According to sources, Najam Sethi will discuss the issue of Asia Cup. He will present Pakistan’s position while also talking to the ICC officials regarding the issues of strained relations with the ACC and the 2025 Champions Trophy.
It should be noted that the Asia Cup 2023 is to be hosted by Pakistan, but Indian cricket board has refused to send its team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, after which the event is likely to be held at a neutral venue.
