CCPO Peshawar visits remote police posts

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Ijaz Khan visited the remote police posts of the provincial capital late at night to inspect the security arrangments and the level of alertness of the cops.
According to an official statement, the CCPO paid the visit to the posts in the context of the country’s security situation.
During the visit, concerned SDPOs and SHOs were also present.
The CCPO directed the officers and cops deputed on different spots to take necessary measures for their safety during duty.
He also issued special instructions to the police officers and officials in view of the current law and order situation in the province.
He also strictly instructed the police personnel to ensure the use of bullet-proof jackets and helmets.

Ijaz Khan said on this occasion that the police force will defeat criminals and would not be allowed to create lawlessness, adding that the force is more alert than ever to deal with the untoward incidents in the provincial capital. He issued instructions to quarters concerned to keep security on high alert in limits of all divisions.
