Swati condemns terrorist attack on police station

PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister on Home and Tribal Affairs Babar Saleem Swati on Saturday strongly condemned terrorist attack on the Sarband Police Station in the provincial capital and lauded the force for repulsing the heinous attack with great courage and bravery. In his statement released from here, Babir Saleem Swati expressed heartfelt sympathy to the families of the martyred policemen and said the terrorists have no faith. Terrorists can never succeed in their nefarious purposes, he said and added that policemen have fought bravely and repulsed the attack. A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and two police personnel have lost their lives in the terrorist attack. Swati said that the sacrifices of the police will not go in vain. He said that the entire nation stands firm with the police force of the province in their fight against terrorism. “Terrorists can never succeed in their nefarious goals with cowardly attacks,” he said. He has prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyred personnel in the attack and said that this cowardly attack is too little to be condemned and such cowardly attacks will not demoralize our police.
