Nasir Saeed Khosa rejects PTI, ‘Q’ offer of becoming caretaker Punjab CM

LAHORE: Nasir Saeed Khosa, who served as chief secretary in Punjab rejected on Monday the offer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its alliance led by Chaudhry Parvez Elahi of becoming the caretaker Punjab chief minister. Mr Khosa expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am thankful to those who have shown confidence in me.” On the other hand, Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera, who was retiring from his post on January 31, who could not be eligible for the post of caretaker Punjab chief minister for being a public servant. Moreover, the process of the appointment of the caretaker Punjab chief minister will be completed prior to this period.
