FIA while giving clean chit to Suleman Shahbaz son of Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif in money laundering case in Special Central Court (SCC) has said no evidence of money laundering has been found against Suleman Shahbaz. The money laundering case filed by FIA against Suleman Shahbaz came up for hearing before SCC Lahore Saturday. FIA filed challan against Suleman Shahbaz in the court. The investigation officer stated before the court challan has been presented with the approval of respective authority.
FIA informed the court no evidence of any kickbacks have been found.
Judge inquired from the counsel of Suleman Shahbaz you want to withdraw bail plea.
Investigation officer of FIA told the court upon it that no evidence of involvement of Suleman Shahbaz and Tahir Naqvi in the case have been found.
Suleman Shahbaz and Tahir Naqvi withdrew bail plea from the court.
The court while adjourning the hearing of the case till February 04 summoned Suleman Shahbaz.
Acquittal plea of Suleman Shahbaz will be put to debate on next hearing.
To a question from the journalist that he had called finance minister joker in his tweet he said PTI had changed five finance ministers and he had called last three finance ministers Joker.
The journalist questioned extempore was Miftah Ismail included in them.
