PESHAWAR: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Ijaz Khan on Thursday paid a surprise visit to Police Station Agha Mir Jani. During the visit, CCPO made a detailed review of the current situation and the security situation in the police station. On this occasion, the relevant officers were also present with him. Muhammad Ijaz Khan checked the security arrangements, records, personal statement, handovers and government weapons of the police station. CCPO Mohammad Ijaz Khan inspected the installed CCTV cameras and also reviewed its monitoring. Police officers and personnel on duty were also strictly instructed regarding the use of jackets and helmets and other safety measures during duty. CCPO also met with the policemen who came to the police station and informed them about the behavior of the police. The competent staff of the police station should show courtesy to the citizens who come and treat them with respect and the problems of senior citizens and women should be solved on a priority basis.
