PESHAWAR
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Taj Mohammad Afridi has said that all the promises made at the time of merger of FATA will be fulfilled, collective projects of public interest are priority, equal socio-economic development in all the merged districts.
He expressed these views during a meeting with the representative delegation of All Tribal Contractors Association here on Monday.
The President, Vice President and others of the Contractors Association informed the caretaker provincial minister about the non-payment of funds and other problems and difficulties faced by the caretaker provincial minister to solve all the problems of the contractors belonging to the adjoining districts on merit.
He also expressed his determination to make all possible efforts to release the funds and distribute them fairly.
The caretaker provincial minister also urged the contractors working in the merged districts to improve their work and quality.
Caretaker Provincial Minister Alhaji Taj Mohammad Afridi said that strict action will be taken against the misuse of the funds of the merged districts or the misappropriation thereof. He also emphasized on the sense of responsibility and on playing a full role alongside the government.
