LAHORE: The petitions seeking the recovery and release of PTI leaders arrested during Jail Bharo drive came up for hearing in Lahore High Court (LHC). The court inquired from the counsel of the petitioner why your people have been arrested. The counsel for petitioner told the court we had started “ jail bharo “ drive. Justice Shehram Sarwar while addressing the counsel for petitioner remarked why you people are playing with courts. The counsel for petitioner said these were symbolic arrests. We are not seeking bail. We have come in the court for the protection of their rights. The court echoed with the laughters on the stance of counsel for the petitioner. Online
