After six-day closure Pak-Afghan Torkham border reopened on Saturday morning for all kinds of traffics and commercial activities and customs clearance process also restored, official sources said.
The custom officials said that Torkham border reopened for commercial activities after 06 days and the process of customs clearance of vehicles at the border has started again. He said all kinds of commercial activities have been restored and hundreds of vehicles stucked at the both sides of the border have crossed Torkham border.
It is to mention here that as per Pakistan Customs officials despite several round of talks Torkham remained shut for six days due to which trade of Rs.4935 millions could not took place. The suspension of trade activities on the border suffered huge lose to the national exchequer in the past week.
