The Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali visited Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met the businessmen and industrialists. On this occasion, Mardan Chamber President Zahir Shah, Senior Vice President Shah Riaz, Vice President Jan Muhammad, Members Executive Committee, Markaz-e-Tanzeem Tajiran Mardan gave a warm welcome to Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. Deputy Commissioner Mardan Captain (Retd.) Abdul Rahman, Assistant Commissioner Mardan Ayesha Tahir, Assistant Commissioner Mardan Junaid Khan, Presidents and General Secretaries of Markaz-e-Tanzeem Tajiran Mardan, besides officials and members of Mardan Press Club participated in large numbers. President of Mardan Chamber Zahir Shah thanked all the guests especially Governor of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and said that this is a moment of very proud for us that business friendly Governor is present among us today. Haji Ghulam Ali has always raised his voice at every forum for the welfare and development of traders and has always fought for the rights of traders and has never compromised on the interests and rights of traders. President Zahir Shah that Haji Ghulam Ali is not only the Governor of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa but the Governor General of the entire country because the business community of the whole country is happy to have Haji Ghulam Ali as the governor, which reflects that Haji Ghulam Ali is a business-friendly personality whose services, whether at the provincial, national or international level are beyond doubt. Haji Ghulam Ali has always played his role in the development of Mardan Chamber and the credit goes to Haji Ghulam Ali for the position Mardan Chamber is at today.
President Mardan Chamber Zahir Shah presented some recommendations In which a grant for the completion of the chamber building, representation of the chambers in the university and establishment of a joint research and development department to work together for the development of the area, the development of the marble industry and small industry which is a very big industry of our area are facing a number of problems in which the marble industry is almost completely closed due to excessive taxes, unnecessary load-shedding of electricity and day-by-day increase in prices and over-billing as well as there are some issues at the level of the Federation of Pakistan which urgently need to be resolved.
Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa in his address thanked Mardan Chamber President Zahir Shah from the bottom of his heart and said that our relationship is not of few years but spread-over on 22 years old which is getting stronger with time and the representative of industrialists who has always prioritized the interests, welfare and development of businessmen and worked together to end unemployment and make the country economically prosperous and stable. Haji Ghulam Ali said that I have spent my career for promotion, development and started 41 years ago, which gradually reached the regional, provincial and then national level with the cooperation, support and help of you people. Haji Ghulam Ali said, If you are doing something with sincerity, you will surely get its reward and for me the respect and encouragement of you people is everything. There will be no injustice with any businessman. At the end of the program, Mardan Chamber President Zahir Shah thanked the Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and presented the chamber shield and various gifts.
