Judge of Lahore High Court (LHC) has excused from hearing the petition filed against non allowing to hold Aurat March.
The petition against non allowing to hold Aurat March came up for hearing in LHC Monday.
Justice Muzammal Akhtar Shabbir recused from hearing the petition.
The judge has recommended to fix the case for hearing before some other bench. File has been sent to Chief Justice of LHC.
The petition was filed by organizers of Aurat March.
It is pertinent to mention here that Lahore Administration had refused to give permission to organize Aurat March in Nasir Bagh, Alhamra, Aiwan-e-Iqbal and on Mall road in view of protest by different organizations.
Care taker information minister Punjab Aamir Mir has said no hindrance will be created by the government in holding Aurat March. Full police security will be provided to participants of Aurat March.
Amir Mir had said in a statement the safety of women participants of Aurat March will be ensured fully.
