Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister of Labour, Excise and Taxation Haji Manzoor Khan Afridi has said that teachers are the builders of the nation in the true sense as their respect having the status of worship.
“The people of Khyber district respect teachers from core of their hearts and that is why our youth are constantly marching ahead in all fields of life right from medical and engineering to every segment of science and technology as well as they are serving the country and the nation in different nation building sectors”, he added.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the farewell function organized in honor of three principals and six headmasters retired from different schools in Khyber district. This event was held in the Government High School Kohi Sher Haider Sepah area, in which besides a large number of local elders, teachers and students and officers of the education department, Provincial Minister for Housing and Jails Shafiullah Khan and former senator and member of the National Assembly Haji Muhammad Shah, also participated.
On this occasion, Haji Manzoor Afridi gave special gifts to these 9 outgoing principals and headmasters and wished for their successful life.
He said that the participation of two ministers including himself in today’s ceremony and the special message of the good wishes of the Minister of Education clearly indicated how much the provincial government giving importance to the teachers.
He asked the students to treat their teachers as spiritual parents, and henceforth success will kiss their feet.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister Housing Shafiullah Khan and ex parliamentarian from Khyber Haji Muhammad Shah also distributed prizes to the outgoing principals and headmasters and expressed good wishes for them.
