Team Green won by 12 runs against Team Blue in friendly cricket match

A friendly cricket match was held between two teams of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat at Amin Lala Ground, Shah Alam Peshawar on Saturday. Team Green, led by Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, won the match by 12 runs beating the Team Blue, led by Shahab Haider after a closely fought contest.
Batting first, Team Green were all out for 150 runs in the 20th over. Adil Mehmood top scored with a quick-fire inning of 34 runs which included 4 sixes while Masood and Saifullah scored 27 and 20 runs respectively. The captain Shahzeb Khan scored an aggressive inning of 17 runs which included a huge six. Irfan and Obaid were the pick of the bowlers for Team Blue and got 3 wickets each while Umar Farooq got 2 wickets.
In response, team Blue were bowled out for 139 runs in pursuit of the target of 151 runs. Abdullah scored an inning of 55 runs while Khwaja Sikandar scored 26 runs. Adil Mehmood, Hidayat Ilahi and Amjad got two wickets each while Hidayatullah Khan, Masood and Johar Afridi got 1 wicket each for Team Green. Masood took four catches for Team Green and played an instrumental role in defending the target. Adil Mehmood and Masood were adjudged the Men of the Match jointly for their brilliant allround performances
