A grand commercial and residential building is being constructed on Ring Road Peshawar, as the district administration and other relevant departments have failed to ensure rules and regulation set by the district administration, said sources.
According sources, the owner of the building has started construction work on the building without obtaining proper Non-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the district administration.
However, the owner, Mr Ajam told this scribe that it was not an easy task to start mega construction work in the provincial metropolis without obtaining proper permission and NOCs from concerned government departments.
Sources in the district administration have claimed that several notices have been served on the owner of the building but he did not accomplice and submitted the required documents and NOC.
Sources claimed that construction work on the building was started without fulfilling legal formalities, adding that all concerned departments have been kept in dark before the work on the aforementioned was started.
Moreover, the owner has launched the major construction work near to Nalla Budni despite the fact that the provincial Irrigation Department has imposed banned all types of construction up to a distance of 200 feet.
It should be noted that the construction of a building comprising 30/30 floors is in progress in the well-known project, which has also been approved by the PDA, although the PDA is required to obtain an Environmental NOC from the Environmental Department for the approval of any high-rise building scheme.
The local residents have also raised serious objections over the construction of the high rise construction building and demanded of the provincial government and district administration to take notice of the issue and stop construction on the building.
