A five-member delegation led by President Mardan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Zahir Shah met Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali at Governor House Peshawar.
In the meeting, President Mardan Chamber and the Provincial General Secretary of the Central Organization of Traders Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Zahir Shah discussed the problems being faced by the business community.
Because at this time, while the country’s economy is on the ventilator and due to which the poor people are in the grip of inflation and on the other hand, due to the sharp increase in the prices of gas, electricity, oil, petroleum products, the industry and businesses are also under severe pressure, the FBR has been issuing unnecessary notices in the form of income tax and sales tax and harassing business people because the addition of point of sales tax and forced sales tax are forcing businessmen to close their businesses, due to which unrest and unemployment will increase.
To stabilize the national economy, it is necessary to expand small businesses and provide interest-free loans to them, it will be possible with the issuance of It should be done because without foreign investment the dream of improving the economy will be incomplete and for this an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood has to be established in the country.
Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam said that suggestions and meetings with representatives of all chambers and trade associations of the province are being held and INSHA ALLAH, the positive suggestions will be implemented.
Considering the difficulties of the poor people even in this difficult situation, the government has launched a huge relief in the form free flour scheme of Ramadan package which is continuing successfully, besides providing financial assistance to the deserving families through Benazir Income Support Program and I am always working to solve the problems of business community I am present because businessmen are the backbone of the country’s economy and INSHA ALLAH in the upcoming budget we will make proposals together with the consultation of businessmen and I will try to solve the business problems on priority bases.
