PESHAWAR: A mother and daughter died and two others were injured when the roof of a dilapidated house suddenly collapsed due to torrential rains in the wee hours of Monday, police said. The unfortunate incident occurred at Ghaz stop on Kohat Road where a room of the house of Mesri Khan fell on his family, killing his 55-year-wife and 22 years daughter on the spot. Mesri Khan and his other critically injured daughter were shifted to hospital. The local residents rushed to the spot and retrieved the bodies from the debris. Later, the deceased were buried at his ancestral graveyard amid moving scenes. APP
