LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has been moved for cancellation of by polls of National Assembly seats in NA-108 and NA-118. The petition has been filed by Farrukh Habib and Ejaz Shah of PTI through Azhar Siddique advocate. The plea has been taken in the petition that less than 120 days are left in National Assembly (NA) election. The by polls cannot be held if less than 120 days are left in NA polls. Holding by polls when less than 120 days are left in NA polls runs contrary to law. There is no room for such election. The petitioners requested the court to cancel by polls in NA-108 and NA-118.
