PPP leader and leading lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan has said the responsible persons including Prime Minister (PM) should be disqualified for five years.
” Supreme Court (SC) should summon Prime Minister (PM) , law minister, interior minister and Election Commission (EC). The court should ask as to why they should not be punished for disobeying SC orders., he said this in a statement issued here Tuesday.
He held if punishment is awarded to them then they will become disqualified for five years.
He went on to say we have swallowed money of four generations.
It is laid down in the constitution that election should be held in 90 days, he said. SC has to implement law and constitution.
If elections are not held then PM, law minister and interior minister Rana Sana Ullah will be responsible.
He underlined Rana Sana Ullah has said elections will not be allowed to be held on May 14.
He observed SC should summon PM, Rana Sana Ullah, Azam Nazir Tarar and EC and seek explanation from them with regard to their statements. If they accept they have insulted court’s orders then they should be punished.
The responsible persons including PM should be deseated for five years, he added.
