LAHORE
Lahore High Court (LHC) while rejecting the plea of state counsel to withdraw the order of not arresting Usman Buzdar has extended protective bail of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Usman Buzdar till May 8. The court while giving remarks said it will make no difference if he is not arrested till Monday. His weekend will pass well.
The petition regarding details of cases and protective bail in respect of former CM Punjab Usman Buzdar came up for hearing before single bench of LHC led by Justice Tariq Salim Sheikh Friday.
Usman Buzdar appeared in the court.
Justice Tariq Salim Sheikh remarked it is incomprehensible why the arrest is needed in every case. You should not shut your eyes after what had happened in Pervez Elahi home. It makes no difference if he will not be arrested till Monday. His weekend will pass well.
The court extended its order for not arresting Usman Buzdar till May 08 and referred the case to larger bench.
