Forces and departments solidarity rally was taken out here in Shahkas area of Jamrud, district Khyber on Thursday.
Led by the interim Provincial Minister for welfare and rehabilitation Taj Muhammad Afridi, a large number of workers of Tehreeke Islahat Pakistan (TIP) and general masses participated in the rally.
Carrying the national flags of Pakistan the participants while chanting slogans “Long Live Pakistan” marched from the Shahkas, the home village of the minister till forces fort.
Addressing on the occasion Taj Muhammad Afridi, Bilal Afridi, Nawab Afridi, Chairman Inayatullah Afridi and others said as per planned plot, conspiracy was hitched against consolidation of the country.
The Strong Army guarantees firm Pakistan; they said and added that the scheme was made to create Libya and Syria like destruction in Pakistan that was foiled by the forces.
Destruction of public properties was not democratic behavior and all the allegedly criminals should be brought to book, they remarked.
They maintained that permanent peace was restored in the country especially in the tribal regions with matchless sacrifices of forces and mud sliding of the Army was beyond thoughts.
At the end the participants met with Sector Commander Brigadier Mansoor Abbas and on behalf of tribesmen presented him bouquets.
Meanwhile, on the third day, local workers of Pakistan Tehreeke Insaf gave up their agitation, initiated at Charwazgai and resumed the Pak-Afghan highway for all kinds of traffic.
