Contempt of EC case
ISLAMABAD
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected PTI objections in contempt of Election Commission (EC) case. A 4-member bench of ECP has decided to indict Imran Khan and other leaders.A 4-member bench of ECP including member Nisar Durrani has announced reserved judgment of contempt of EC case. The ECP while rejecting PTI objections has decided to indict PTI chairman Imran Khan and other leaders. Faisal Chaudhry counsel for PTI said I have appeared on behalf of all respondents. The previous order was not received to me.
Member EC Nisar Durrani said who is answerable has not appeared in EC so far.
Faisal Chaudhry said I am filing his absence application.
Nisar Durrani further said now we will frame charges. The answerable should appear in person.
The EC has adjourned hearing of the case till July 11.
