PESHAWAR
Deputy Director Media coordination Sohail Ahmad has said that students should assist Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the drive for voter’s awareness.
He expressed these views while addressing a three-day youth training arranged by IFES and The Enlight Lab here on Thursday at University of Peshawar (UoP).
The students and faculty members were briefed about the electoral process, importance of vote, composition of ECP, constitutional and legal framework and steps being taken for inclusive and credible Elections.
A demonstration regarding conduct of poll was also presented in order to educate students about the process of polling. Students took keen interest in the session and asked many relevant questions which were addressed by the team of ECP.
