The National Assembly Standing Committee
on Law and Justice Wednesday approved a bill against contesting elections on more than two constituencies. In a meeting, Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali presented a bill to disallow elections on more than two seats.
As per the bill, the candidates will not be able to participate in the elections for more than two seats. Chitrali said national resources were wasted if a candidate contested on multiple seats.
