ISLAMABAD : Power tariff has been scaled up by Rs 1.24 per unit.
A notification has been issued on hike in power tariff.
According to notification the hike in the electricity tariff will be applicable to electricity bills of July, August and September.
The increase in power tariff will shift financial burden of Rs 46.76 billion to consumers.
The electricity tariff has been enhanced under the head of quarterly adjustment.
NEPRA had accorded approval to increase in power tariff a few days earlier.
