Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif said that Chashma C-5 nuclear power plant project is an important milestone in the development of country. This nuclear power project will be environment- friendly.
Our power plants are safe.
It will be the largest project for obtaining cheap energy in the country. Rumors were rife that the country would default. This project is blunt answer to them. Now the risk of default is completely averted.
Great friend China has always cooperated in every difficult time. This project is also an example of Pak-China friendship. This project will bring economic stability in the country which will flourish day by day.
Jobs will be available.
I am deeply grateful to Chinese President XI Jinping and Chinese government.
Pak-China economic relations will boost further through this project.
The country’s economy is on the way to improvement by cooperation of IMF.
He was addressing audience in ceremony after laying the foundation stone for the construction of Chashma Nuclear Power Station 5 in Chashma.
He further added that Chairman of Nuclear Energy Commission has also declared this project safe and environment friendly. China had taken the best steps to get Pakistan out of economic problems in past 4 months.
Friendly relations are established between two countries. Collaboration between nuclear relations is important in relations between both countries.
C5 is a continuation of the affordable energy policy. We will never forget the support of China in our difficult time. We will never forget the support of China, Saudi Arabia and UAE in our difficult time and we are thankful for their cooperation.
China Nuclear Commission Chairman said that government of Pakistan and people deserve congratulations on laying foundation stone for C5.
Collaboration between Nuclear power will enhance relations between both countries.
This nuclear project is vision of PM Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese President Xi Jinping. China will continue to help Pakistan in nuclear program.
We want that Pakistan becomes self-sufficient in nuclear energy.
Chairman of Pakistan Atomic energy Commission Dr Ali Raza Anwar said that Chashma Nuclear Power plants has generated new and great opportunities of employment.
C5 will prove to be a great project in the field of nuclear energy in the country.
We are already generating excellent and affordable electricity from 4 plants.
Our scientists, engineers, technicians and all employees are doing good work and we acknowledge all of them.
Our power plants are environment friendly and affordable source of electricity generation.
